The Seattle Kraken's 2026 Development Camp has concluded with Team Blue winning the fourth annual Stucky Cup.
The camp saw 27 skaters divided into two teams competing for the Stucky Cup, with Team Blue emerging victorious after two 20-minute halves.
The prospects were invited to work on their skills with Kraken coaches throughout the week, culminating in the Stucky Cup scrimmage.
Director of Player Development Cory Murphy shared his perspective on the camp, saying he was "really impressed with the attitudes of all of our prospects, the commitment, the focus".
Casey Mutryn, the 38th overall selection in the 2026 NHL Draft, praised the Kraken's staff and facilities, saying "the guys, the staff, the resources we have here - it's second to none".
The Kraken are currently 13th in the Western Conference with a 34-37 record, on a L3 streak, and are set to face the Vancouver Canucks on September 20, 2026.
Blake Fiddler, the 36th overall pick in 2025, agreed with Mutryn, saying "it's awesome to have all the fans out here, to compete against the guys, have a little bit of competition".
The tournament concluded with Team Blue taking the victory, and the prospects are now looking to build on their experience at the Development Camp.
